Srinivasan Pranesh, born to the couple Śrī CMHM Pranesh and Śmt P Rukmani, hails from a family who had several Chatur Vedins as their ancestors. He was born and brought up in Chennai, while the known ancestral origin is Coimbatore and Kumbakonam. He is a 2005 passout Engineering Graduate from Jayam College of Engineering & Technology, Dharmapuri, affiliated to Anna University and works as a Mechanical Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry. His Dharma Patni Śmt S. Indira was born and brought up in Tirumala. The couple have a son named S. Saragan.
Srinivasan Pranesh was initiated into philosophical studies in the year 2008 by the grace of Śrī Raghavendra Tīrtharu. Later, he studied Madhva Siddhānta under the guidance of Pujya Chrompet Śrī R Sridharan and simultaneously learnt chanting of Vedic hymns from Pujya Śrī Mādhavan, who is the temple priest of Śrī Nava Narasimhar Temple,Thazhambur, Chennai.
Currently he is studying Madhva Siddhānta under Pujya Śrī R Nārāyaṇācārya of Śrīrangam, a well known Sudha Pandit and well qualified Vyāsa Traya as well.
Srinivasan Pranesh is passionate about learning Madhva Siddhānta and doing Siddhānta Prachara in the form of books and discourses with the blessings of his revered Preceptor.
